Join us for a fun-filled day out for all the family!

This August we're heading to Mile End Sports Ground for our very first St Helena Hospice Community Fun Day! With bouncy castles, games, food, face painting, entertainment and everything else you'd expect from a fantastic summer fete! There will be plenty for all ages to do, see and enjoy.

Entry is free for all. 

Car parking will be available for a £2 donation. If you can why not go green and walk to the event or use park and ride?

What is the Community Fun Day?
The Community Fun Day is an event designed to bring the community together for a day of fun, entertainment, and social activities.
When and where is the event taking place?
The event is scheduled for Saturday 3rd August at Mile End Recreation Ground, Colchester CO4 5FS. Gates open at 11am.
How much does it cost to attend?
Admission is free. However, some activities or food vendors may have a cost.
Is there a rain date?
The event is scheduled to proceed as planned. However, please note that in case of adverse weather conditions, we may need to adjust or reschedule. We will keep you informed of any changes.
Activities and entertainment
What activities are available?
We offer a variety of activities including: face painting, bouncy castles, crafts, tombola and lots of fun stalls
 
Will there be food and beverages?
Yes, food trucks and vendors will be on-site offering a range of options.
Is alcohol allowed?
Nobody will be permitted to bring along their own alcohol into the event, there will be licenced bars on site selling alcohol.

Where can I park?
There is parking available on site for a small charge of £2 per car.

Yes, the event is designed to be accessible. We have designated disabled parking spaces and accessible restrooms.
Are pets allowed?
Well behaved pets on leads are welcome.
Will there be security at the event?
Yes, we will have security personnel on-site to ensure the safety of all attendees.
