St Helena Care & Support is owned and run by St Helena Hospice with all profits from its paid-for services going back to support the work of the hospice. The care agency offers a wide range of high quality, home care services across Colchester and Tendring for people who pay privately for their care or through adult social care, allowing them to stay in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by memories and routines, while getting the support they need to live well. 

The Hospice Education Accreditation demonstrates St Helena Care & Support’s commitment to high standards in end-of-life care, having completed a 12 month programme where staff developed skills from specialist professionals through training, coaching and supported development.

St Helena Care & Support demonstrated an impressive level of commitment, not only from the senior leadership team but across the entire care team, who were fully engaged throughout the training sessions and shadow shifts. A consistently high level of participation, enthusiasm, and dedication to delivering high-quality care was evident throughout. 

“The award reflects the high standards consistently demonstrated across the service strengthens integrated working with community services and ensures consistent, person-centred care across our locality.”
