Roses for Remembrance, which is sponsored by Rose Calendars, will be held on Sunday 14th June from 11am to 4pm at Beth Chatto’s Plants & Gardens, Clacton Road, Elmstead Market, Elmstead, Colchester, CO7 7DB.

People may also purchase a white ceramic Remembrance Rose to be displayed at the event and then afterwards to keep, with an extra option to have a leaf engraved with a name or special message. 

Josh Jones, Fundraiser at St Helena Hospice, said:

“Our special ceramic Remembrance Roses are a wonderful way to support St Helena Hospice in memory of your loved one.

“Visitors to our Roses for Remembrance event will have the chance to view their rose planted in the stunning gardens at Beth Chatto’s, then take it home after the event to display in their own garden or perhaps at a grave or memorial space.

“Purchasing a rose and a ticket to the event will help fund the vital work of St Helena Hospice for people in north east Essex in need of specialist palliative care and bereavement support.”

Tickets for the event are limited and cost £8 per person which also gives entry to Beth Chatto’s stunning gardens, or £15 for both a ticket and a white ceramic Remembrance Rose. There is also an extra option to add an engraved leaf for the Remembrance Rose for the combined price of £27; this must be ordered by 31st May to guarantee engravement in time for the event.
