Rosie said: “It is amazing. I've not had proper fresh air since May or June, so that's six months. I know the skies are grey, but it's like a summer day to me. It's beautiful and everyone has worked so hard to get me here as well. So just thank you to everyone who's done it for me. I have wanted it for so long and now I just can't believe it's happened. It's a bit chilly, but the adrenaline is keeping me warm!”
It was an emotional time for her family too. Her husband Tracy said: “It's just unbelievable, unbelievable. I'm totally overwhelmed. I never thought I'd see this day. It’s the best Christmas present ever.”

When you make a donation to St Helena Hospice, we are charged transactional fees by other companies, including fees for processing payments made to us, looking up addresses and validating bank account details.
We are very grateful to our donors who offer to offset some of these fees with a minor addition to their total amount. This is however completely optional and we are very grateful for your support whether or not you choose to contribute to processing fees.
