Light up the streets as you walk with hundreds of local people all raising money to make sure St Helena Hospice can be there for the people you love when they need us.
This year the party has a brand new venue and two new routes as we'll be starting and finishing at the home of Colchester United, the JobServe Community Stadium.
Dress in your brightest colours for this year's neon theme and take on either a 4 mile or 9 mile route through the streets of Colchester. Both routes will pass St Helena Hospice on Barncroft Close in Highwoods where you can pause at our memory stop.
Anyone over the age of 11 can take part and we invite everyone to join us, whether you’re walking yourself, as a group or family, with your friends or as a couple. All are welcome!
By taking part in Midnight Walk, you can help us support more people in our local community, so they can live their lives with compassion, dignity, and choice until the very end.
Registration opens anytime from 7pm and walkers are due to set off from the JobServe Community Stadium in Colchester at 10pm. We do ask that all walkers arrive in good time of the walk starting.
Please note there will also be a full event village kicking off the evening from 7.00pm, including a Glass and Lego Walk, performers, glitter station, food stalls and more!

It's not too late to join us at this year's Midnight Walk. You can sign up on the night from 7pm for a fee of £45 per adult and £20 per child (aged 11-17). This includes a finishers medal and complimentary piece of cake, event village entertainment and the cost of a clinical nurse specialist for an hour, supporting people at home to live well and die with dignity.
Please refer to the FAQs below for further information.
The Midnight Walk will return again in 2025 for St Helena Hospice's anniversary year.
The date and venue is TBC but we can tell you that to mark 40 years since St Helena opened our doors in 1985, it will be 1980's themed!
Plus of course we will have a full event village of fun with DJ, music and more to kick off the nighttime walk!
Fill in the form below to register your interest and be the first to hear when we release an event date and registration opens.
