Did you know that gifts in Wills help fund the care of 1 in every 5 people receiving end of life and palliative care from St Helena Hospice?
We have been privileged to provide care for over four decades - thanks to the generosity of supporters like you. Your kindness has enabled us to be there for individuals and families during life’s most challenging times.
As we look to the future, your support will help ensure St Helena Hospice remains a place of comfort and compassion for every family who will need us tomorrow, creating a lasting legacy of care for our community.
At St Helena Hospice, we believe everyone living with an incurable illness deserves the right to live and die with dignity, compassion, and choice. We believe families should feel supported, and anyone coping with loss and bereavement should be guided through their grief with care.
Our aim is to create a community where everyone knows, as the end of their story draws near, that they will be cared for and die where they choose to be; where loved ones have the opportunity to make the most of life together, surrounded by a community that cares and supports one another.
By leaving a gift in your Will, you ensure we can continue to meet the growing demand for our services, even as external funding challenges increase. It allows us to plan confidently for the future, knowing we’ll be able to care for the people you love and support your community for future generations.

When you make a donation to St Helena Hospice, we are charged transactional fees by other companies, including fees for processing payments made to us, looking up addresses and validating bank account details.
We are very grateful to our donors who offer to offset some of these fees with a minor addition to their total amount. This is however completely optional and we are very grateful for your support whether or not you choose to contribute to processing fees.
CloseWe are able to claim an extra 25p on every £1 on your donation amount for no extra cost to you, as long as you are a UK tax payer; have paid enough income tax or capital gains tax in that tax year; and are donating your own money. If you pay less income tax and/or capital gains tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of your donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
