Thumbs up for hospice

Tony Williams gave St Helena a thumbs up after a morning sitting in the garden with hospice cat Paddy. The day before, Tony had a sit in a Porsche 911 outside the hospice and remarked that he had never been in a sports car before.

Speech markWonderful place here, wonderful staff and everything. Nothing’s any trouble to them. They're so friendly.

If you want anything, they're there and you ain't got to keep worrying. They can't do nothing better. So this is lovely.

Been here a couple of weeks, such a wonderful place. I've lived here 30 years and I didn't even know this was here.

When we came in and got settled in, I said is it a hotel or a hospital!

They said to me this morning you can have a shower if you like, and they took me in there; like a hotel in there, blimey! It’s unreal, got everything in there. Wonderful place.

There’s the cat, yeah, we've been sitting out there in the garden today, really lovely when the sun was out, gorgeous. Just pleased to be in here. Speech mark
