Event information

Come together for an absolute ball with a pantomime performed by St Helena staff and volunteers. Join us on Saturday 22nd November for a matinee and evening performance of Cinderella, a panto by Ben Crocker, at Lakeside Theatre on University of Essex's Colchester Campus in aid of St Helena Hospice.

This amateur performance is lovingly put together by staff and volunteers at St Helena Hospice and promises to be a hilarious time for families and friends.

Join us for either the matinee performance at 14:00 or the evening performance at 18:30.

Where is the pantomime taking place?
The event will be held at Essex University - Lakeside Theatre on Saturday 22nd November. 
Can I make extra donations?
Additional donations are very welcome and can be Gift Aided if eligible. 

Please note: Ticket purchases cannot be Gift Aided. 
Can children attend?
Absolutely! Children are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 
Can I bring my pet?
Sorry, no pets allowed, except for registered assistance animals. 
Can I get a refund if I can’t attend?
Tickets are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled. 
Can I take photos or videos?

No unauthorised photography or filming during the performance. 

Official photos may be taken for promotional use. 

How long is the performance
We estimate that each performance will approximately 2 – 2 1/5 hours – which includes interval. 
How much are tickets?

Adult: £15 

Child (ages 3–16): £8 

Under 3s: Free (must sit on a lap) 

How will I receive my ticket?
You will recieve an email confirmation from Enthuse which will act as your ticket. Please bring it with you (printed or digital) for entry. 
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact the organisers in advance so we can assist you. 
Is this a fundraising event?
Yes! This pantomime is run by St Helena Hospice and its staff as a voluntary event to raise funds for local hospice care. 
Will merchandise be available?
Yes, merchandise will be on sale before and after each performance. 
Will there be food and drinks?
Yes, refreshments will be available to purchase on-site.

Processing fees

When you make a donation to St Helena Hospice, we are charged transactional fees by other companies, including fees for processing payments made to us, looking up addresses and validating bank account details.

We are very grateful to our donors who offer to offset some of these fees with a minor addition to their total amount. This is however completely optional and we are very grateful for your support whether or not you choose to contribute to processing fees.
