We couldn’t do it alone. It’s thanks to the support, generosity and kindness of our local community through donating, volunteering, taking part in events, visiting and donating to our shops, playing the lottery, leaving gifts in Wills and supporting our social enterprise initiatives that we’ve been able to care for the past two generations. Thank you.
Since 1985 we've supported tens of thousands of individuals and families through end of life care and bereavement. Together, we can ensure this legacy continues for the next generation and for the people you love.
Join us in making our 40th year unforgettable and ensuring we can continue providing comfort dignity and joy for those facing the most difficult time of their lives for the next 40 years.
This anniversary isn’t just about looking back - it’s about securing the future. The hospice sector is facing challenges like never before. Rising costs and growing demand mean our ability to care for more than 4,200 local people each year is under pressure. But with your support, we can continue delivering outstanding end of life care to all who need it, when they need it.
There are lots of ways you can support St Helena in our anniversary year, from making a donation to volunteering your time, taking part in one of our events, shopping in our shops, playing our lottery or being one of 40 pledging to leave a gift in your Will. Your support will help us continue our vital work for the next generation.
Have you got a special memory of St Helena from the last four decades? We'd love to hear it! Your memories will be shared with our teams and may feature anonymously on our social media accounts and in our email newsletters.
Your donation, large or small, can make a big difference, giving more local people dignity and choice at the end of life.
Read stories DonateWhen you make a donation to St Helena Hospice, we are charged transactional fees by other companies, including fees for processing payments made to us, looking up addresses and validating bank account details.
We are very grateful to our donors who offer to offset some of these fees with a minor addition to their total amount. This is however completely optional and we are very grateful for your support whether or not you choose to contribute to processing fees.
CloseWe are able to claim an extra 25p on every £1 on your donation amount for no extra cost to you, as long as you are a UK tax payer; have paid enough income tax or capital gains tax in that tax year; and are donating your own money. If you pay less income tax and/or capital gains tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of your donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
