Heritage stories visits Jaywick

St Helena Hospice has been recording the memories of the people who were there at the beginning of hospice care in north east Essex, as part of our heritage stories collection.

View some of the inspiring stories in the art gallery at Jaywick Martello Tower heritage centre, 10am-4pm every weekend until Sunday 10th April, and additionally Thursday 7th and Friday 8th April.

Information about the historic venue and important accessibility details at Explore Essex.

Our heritage project is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players. Find out about our heritage stories project at www.sthelena.org.uk/heritage
