Our domiciliary care (home care) means you can stay in the comfort of your own home, surrounded by your memories and routines, while getting the support you need to live well. This can include:
Getting started - here’s how we begin:
1. A warm conversation
We'll chat with you (and your loved ones, if you like) about your wishes, needs, and daily life.
2. A personal care plan
Together, we’ll create a plan that reflects your needs and goals, from the small things to the important ones.
3. Matching with a carer
We’ll introduce you to a carer (or team of carers) who fits your personality, schedule, and preferences.
4. Your first visit
We’ll arrive with a smile, take our time, and make sure everything feels calm, clear, and comfortable.

"A truly caring friendly care service. The team take pride in putting the client at the centre of all tasks. They pay attention to getting the little things done exactly as the client would have done them themselves. Listening to them speaking with the client you can hear the respect they give to the client and they take time to listen, which is so important when the client needs a little extra time to think and respond sometimes. I witnessed great patience and kindness. They are a team I would trust implicitly with the people I love the most."

"Totally reliable, efficient and effective care service. My sister and I feel totally confident and assured the carers are providing the best possible service to make my mum's life the best it can be. Nothing but praise for the whole package, including the online care assessment plan that allows you to see all the notes and comments from the carers and allows you to send notes to the care manager/team - it's fantastic. Very professional. I couldn't recommend them more."

When you make a donation to St Helena Hospice, we are charged transactional fees by other companies, including fees for processing payments made to us, looking up addresses and validating bank account details.
We are very grateful to our donors who offer to offset some of these fees with a minor addition to their total amount. This is however completely optional and we are very grateful for your support whether or not you choose to contribute to processing fees.
CloseWe are able to claim an extra 25p on every £1 on your donation amount for no extra cost to you, as long as you are a UK tax payer; have paid enough income tax or capital gains tax in that tax year; and are donating your own money. If you pay less income tax and/or capital gains tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of your donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
