Find out morePaddy was a favourite fixture at the hospice inpatient unit in Barncroft Close, Highwoods, where he lived having arrived there as an adult cat around 11 years ago.
Niamh Eve, Hospice Matron, said:
“Our cat, Paddy, was very well loved by patients and their families, as well as staff and volunteers, for more than a decade.
“He brought so much comfort, warmth and love to all at St Helena, often curling up with patients on their beds or having a nap on a windowsill around the hospice.
“Paddy was an integral part of St Helena and was lucky to be loved by so many people. He will be sorely missed.”
Paddy died on Friday 5th July, held by hospice nurse Lauren Vincent and Dr Beata Kasznicka.
People can upload pictures and memories of Paddy and make a donation to St Helena Hospice if they wish on his Timeless Tribute page.

We are very grateful to our donors who offer to offset some of these fees with a minor addition to their total amount. This is however completely optional and we are very grateful for your support whether or not you choose to contribute to processing fees.
