£50 Challenge – An internal perspective

St Helena Hospice teamed up with Birkett Long Solicitors for the Birkett Long £50 Challenge whereby teams from a range of companies from north Essex signed up to take part to find creative, fun and effective ways to turn the £50 they are given by Birkett Long into as much money as possible for St Helena Hospice.

The People and Culture and Finance Departments joined forces to create one of many internal teams who signed up to see what they could raise as they see first hand the incredible work that all the staff and volunteers at St Helena do on a daily basis.

A total of £1,565.00 was raised through organising a bake off, name the teddy bear, guess the number of sweets in the jar and a holding a raffle. The raffle was the highlight of the event with over 120 prizes on offer with a massive thank you going to all the companies and staff who very generously donated prizes and vouchers to the raffle.
