Why I am doing Midnight Walk: Kerry

Kerry is going to be taking part in Midnight Walk...

Me and my husband Matt are taking part in the Midnight Walk for St Helena Hospice.

This is my first time doing this and will mean so much to me. We are doing this in memory of my dearest nanna who sadly passed away in May this year at an amazing 100 years old.

My grandad was looked after by St Helena Hospice with end of life care. My nanna always gave a donation to this fantastic charity every year as a thank you for their amazing help they had given to my grandad. They were fantastic.

At my nan's end of life, we had just got a care plan in place on the day she passed with St Helena Hospice. She would have been looked after by this amazing charity as well as us, her family, and she would have been so thankful for their help and most definitely deserved their care.

So here is to my precious nanna, you are worth every penny, nanna. Me and Matt will treasure this evening in memory of you xxx

We love and miss you so much Nan.
