Butterflies will be ready for collection at St Helena Hospice’s Community Fun Day event on Saturday 3rd August at Mile End Recreation Ground between 11am to 5pm.
Alternatively, the engraved plaque can be collected from the charity’s fundraising office by appointment.
Rosalyn Leclercq, senior philanthropy manager at St Helena Hospice, said: “Each butterfly symbolises the enduring memory of those we cherish and serves as a reminder of the love and joy they brought into our lives.
“With your purchase, you will help ensure St Helena Hospice can continue to provide compassionate care and support to local people facing incurable illness and bereavement in north east Essex.
“Your loved one doesn’t have to have been supported by the hospice; anyone can purchase a dedication in tribute.
“Together, let us honour the memory of our loved ones while making a difference to the lives of others. Your support will help bring comfort and care to those using the services of St Helena Hospice today and in the future.”
Prices range from £8 to £59 for purchase and dedication online with all proceeds going to St Helena Hospice.
When you make a donation to St Helena Hospice, we are charged transactional fees by other companies, including fees for processing payments made to us, looking up addresses and validating bank account details.
We are very grateful to our donors who offer to offset some of these fees with a minor addition to their total amount. This is however completely optional and we are very grateful for your support whether or not you choose to contribute to processing fees.
CloseWe are able to claim an extra 25p on every £1 on your donation amount for no extra cost to you, as long as you are a UK tax payer; have paid enough income tax or capital gains tax in that tax year; and are donating your own money. If you pay less income tax and/or capital gains tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of your donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
